Hosting & server logs

The server serving this page may log requests (IP address, requested path, timestamp, user agent) for operational security and abuse prevention. These logs are not shared with third parties and are rotated regularly.

Anonymous usage stats

So I can tell whether anyone actually uses this site, the server keeps a few simple counters: which page was opened, whether the video was started, and which download was clicked. These are plain counts with no link to individual visitors — no cookie or other identifier is ever stored on or read from your device. Because of that, this doesn't require consent under German telecom-media law (§ 25 TDDDG) either.

Local storage

Your theme (day/night) and language preference are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not read by the server.

Downloads

Release metadata (version, changelog, file size) is fetched server-side from GitHub and served from this domain — your browser never talks to GitHub directly for that. Clicking Download is different: it takes you to GitHub Releases, and your browser connects straight to a GitHub server to get the file. Beyond that, no third-party analytics or tracking pixels are embedded on this page.
